Thrones of New York reviews bar bathrooms. We collect as little about you as we can. Last updated October 2026.

What we collect

• Your submissions: bathroom photos, ratings, your one-liner, the bar's location, the inspector name you type and, if you give it, your Instagram handle. Approved submissions are public on this site and may be posted to our Instagram.
• Google sign-in (optional): if you sign in, Google shares your name, email address, profile picture and a Google account ID with us. We use these only to keep your inspector name and rank tied to you. We never see your Google password.
• Photos: resized on your device before upload, which removes hidden photo data like GPS coordinates.
• Anonymous usage counts: we count things like page views and pins tapped per day, so we know what's popular. Our own counts are plain daily totals with no cookies, IP addresses or user IDs attached. We also count roughly where visits come from (city and country, from our hosting provider), as daily totals that are never linked to you. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free.
• Meta Pixel (analytics and advertising): we use the Meta Pixel from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to measure visits and to show and measure our ads on Meta's platforms. It records things like pages viewed, bars viewed, searches and filters used, merch link clicks and reports filed, and sets a cookie in your browser. Meta may link this to your Facebook or Instagram account and uses it under Meta's privacy policy. You can control this in your Meta ad preferences, or block it with your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker. The Pixel is not loaded in our admin area.
• Merch drop list (optional): if you sign up, we keep your email and which item you're interested in, only to tell you when merch is available. Ask us and we'll remove it.
• Contact form: whatever you send us, including any photos or files you attach, plus your name and email if you choose to include them, so we can reply. Attachments are private and only visible to us.
• Your device: your browser may remember your inspector name to save typing next time. That stays on your device.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your information.
• We don't show your email address publicly.
• We don't send Meta your photos, your report text, or your email address.

Where it lives

The site and its data are hosted on Cloudflare. Map tiles come from OpenFreeMap. Sign-in is provided by Google. Analytics and advertising measurement use the Meta Pixel.

Removing your stuff

Want a submission taken down or your sign-in details deleted? Use the contact form or DM us on Instagram and we'll handle it.

Photos of people

Don't submit photos with people in them. We reject them, and if one slips through we'll remove it on request.
